One of the most interesting jobs Practical Access has done to date. Although small, this project presented many challenges that took no small amount of brain storming and technical expertise to be completed efficiently and safely. Each stainless steel coloured pole had to be matched up with two separate steel cables with each colour to be in a set location. Lastly, each pole had to be perfectly aligned and level.
They only weighed between 10 and 20 kilos, however were around 6 metres long! The hardest part was the access. Because it was located in an open courtyard, special span lines had to be set up in order for our technicians to access the steel cables. The install ended up being completed in 2 very long days. Once all pieces were in, each one had to be individually cleaned to remove all marks from handling.
